Applications Open for the 10th Anniversary BRICS International School: New Generation

Applications are now open for the 10th anniversary edition of the BRICS International School: New Generation, which will take place in Moscow, Russia, from October 27 to 29, 2026. Organized with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the School is the flagship educational project of the BRICS Expert Council-Russia and this year celebrates a decade of empowering the next generation of global leaders.

Over the course of three days, 100 young leaders from around the world will take part in an intensive educational program featuring lectures, expert discussions, master classes, business simulations, debates, and networking sessions. The program will be led by distinguished practitioners from government, academia, business, think tanks, and international organizations.

Over the past ten years, the BRICS School has evolved far beyond its original concept. What began as an educational initiative has grown into a comprehensive international ecosystem that includes regional schools, global programs, youth tracks, and a worldwide community of more than 1,000 alumni ambassadors representing dozens of countries.

The anniversary edition reflects both the project's achievements and its future ambitions. It offers an opportunity to look back on the School's remarkable journey, recognize the contributions of its alumni, and celebrate a decade of building an international professional community. At the same time, it remains true to its original mission—not only to deepen participants' understanding of the BRICS agenda and emerging global trends, but also to equip young leaders with practical skills and foster long-term international cooperation. As the project enters its second decade, the anniversary School will serve as a platform for identifying new areas of collaboration and transforming years of accumulated experience into concrete joint initiatives.

Applications are open to young scientists and innovators, diplomats and representatives of ministries, political scientists, representatives of think tanks and NGOs, entrepreneurs, international journalists, and youth leaders aged 18 to 35. Participants are selected on a competitive basis.
