Eurasian Women's Forum Session at SPIEF: International Cooperation Between Women for Economic Development

0 1748510711

International women’s associations have emerged as a powerful tool for the female community to interact with world leaders and international organisations on political, economic, and cooperation issues in education, science, and culture. The initiatives put forth by groups such as the Women 20 (W20), the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance, the APEC BEST Award Winners Club for Women Entrepreneurs, and the International Council of Women in Technology and Industry are igniting transformative change across various nations. In Russia, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific Region, women are driving a remarkable surge in business activity, with nearly a third of private enterprises under their ownership. The advent of new technologies and artificial intelligence, coupled with shifts in international trade relations and the establishment of new logistics chains, are pivotal in shaping economic connections. Amidst major geopolitical changes and economic transformations, the expansion of international economic cooperation among women takes on special significance, serving as a vital force for regional development and unlocking fresh opportunities for women. How can the Eurasian Women's Forum and international women's associations collaboratively advance initiatives aimed at enhancing women's roles in technology? What mechanisms are essential to guarantee women's comprehensive participation across all sectors of the economy?  Which tools can most effectively promote women's initiatives within integration associations across diverse countries? What social, economic, and environmental joint initiatives are currently being successfully implemented by women from international associations, and which new areas of cooperation hold particular relevance and promise? How can women's associations help elevate women's projects to the international stage? What role do public organisations play in supporting initiatives and programmes that serve women's interests?
