Journalists from Latin America Meet with Victoria Panova at HSE University
On October 21, Victoria Panova, Head of the BRICS Expert Council-Russia and Vice Rector at HSE University, met with Latin American journalists participating in the InteRussia internship programme.
Before the meeting, guests from Latin America had a campus tour of the HSE University and learned about its student life. Victoria Panova then delivered a brief lecture covering the history of BRICS, its core goals, current challenges, and strategic priorities.
The subsequent discussion highlighted female leadership and the role of women in international affairs. Journalists also asked questions about cooperation among the BRICS nations in humanitarian and media fields.
The meeting was held in an open and friendly atmosphere, creating a space for meaningful dialogue on the future of global cooperation and the role of journalism in strengthening the understanding between nations.
The InteRussia programme, launched by the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, is designed to build professional networks and facilitate the exchange of expertise among media professionals, academics, and public diplomacy specialists.
